Maintaining Your Hair Extensions during the Fall Season

Maintaining Your Hair Extensions during the Fall Season

I'm sure you probably thought that maintaining your hair extensions during the summer was way more important than maintaining your hair during the Fall/Winter time. Well it's still very much important to protect your bundles during the Fall/Winter times as well.

During the Fall season, you have to take extra care of your hair extensions. You don't want to worry about your hair tangling up due to colder temperatures drying out your hair extensions. So here is one way to keep your hair extensions looking and feeling luxurious during the fall season.

It's best to condition your hair extensions weekly. The Fall/Winter air can cause your bundles to become really dry, which in turn makes it more difficult for your hair to retain moisture. If you don't condition your bundles once a week or at least every 2 weeks minimum, then you will see and feel a difference with how your hair is holding up. You hair extensions will become very dry, brittle, and constantly tangle. Remember clean hair is also key! When conditioning your hair extensions make sure to use a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. This will keep your hair tangle free, and have a better chance of not matting up. Conditioning your bundles just helps bring back the moisture that is needed to protect it from the colder temperatures.
